Registered Guernsey Goats at L.D Farms
Contact us to be put on our 2026 waitlist for registered Gurnsey bucklings and doelings. Prices range from $450-$600.
Here at L.D. Farms, we raise registered British and American Guernsey goats.
We love their quiet, docile temperament, medium size build, and sweet, rich milk. They are hardy and do well in our Maine climate! They are the ideal dairy breed for the milk we use in our fresh, farm made dairy products.
Our goats are raised with regular herbal supplements to encourage their strong immune systems, parasite resistance, easy kidding, milk production and hardy kids. They also receive additional supplemental Copper and Selenium due to our area's deficiency. The herd is rotated throughout 8+ acres of pasture during the growing season, and we are fencing in more pasture each season! this keeps parasite problems to a minimum, while allowing healthy growth for our pastures
Our herd is sample tested yearly for CL, CAE, TB, Brucellosis and Johne's disease, we only purchase from tested herds.
We are clean tested as of July 2025. Our entire herd of goats and sheep tested NEGATIVE for CL, CAE, OPP, TB, Brucellosis and John's.**
Our entire herd is registered with the British Goat Society as we actively work to breed up and preserve this beautiful and unique breed of goat.
We are members of the American Dairy Goat Association, and the British Goat Society. For more information on this rare, sweet breed visit GGBoA at: guernseygoats.org/
Breeding pairs ~ 2025-2026

TurningPage Clover and VIIAcreWood Magic
Fabulous personalities on both of these Guernseys. Nice udder structure and production. Hardy and easy keepers. Clover is polled. Looking for Magic to improve leg structure with this pairing
Introducing Turningpage Tarragon. Lovely conformation, easy to milk, fabulous producer. She is paired with Stumphollo Lamdmark. He has many excellent daughters in the ring so we are looking to add to that number with this duo

Make way for the lovely L.D Farms Honey!
Calm, quiet, nice conformation, easy milker, classic Guernsey. We retained her buckling, Sir Walter, pleased with his growth. Honey is paired with Stumphollo Landmark for April kids.

Miss L..D Farms Goldfinch returned to our herd this year and blessed us with a perfect doeling, Magpie, this summer. Finch is a solid doe and heavy milker. Conformationally, I have no qualms, high parasite resistance, but udder connection needs help so this fall I paired her with Treasured Anise.

Eager for this pair's kids in April. Sillyheart Olive Pipit was born on our farm in our early Guernsey years and has now come back to us. Hoping to retain a doeling to continue our Ardelia lines that started our herd. The deep capacity, wide rump, parasite resistance, long lactation and mothering abilities in this line of does has been tops for us. She is paired with Magic

Nutmeg is our only unregistered doe (sire is VIIAcreWood Jaypimente and doe is unregistered Ardelia stock) so this year we hope to start her breeding up line with a solid doeling or two. Nutmeg is long bodied, has great legs, is polled, easy to keep, and a heavy milker. We've paired her with Magic.

Another homegrown doe, L.DFarms Heidi. She's an easy birther, dedicated mom, easy keeper and great milk maker. She's not much to look at, but year after year she has the best growing kids. Paired with Landmark to bring some more depth and better udder structure

Quatroviento Bonita One of the first to greet you in the barn, heavy milker, easy kidder and easy keeper, oh and she's polled! Each year she grows out some excellent kids. Paired with Landmark this year for some solid Guernsey goodness!

Girly Girl came to the farm last year and gave us a cute set of twins. Moving to a much bigger herd was a little tough on her so we let her settle in, gave her private access to extra feed, protein and minerals, & let her raise her babies. I milked her occasionally to check her health and milk production. Girl has long lactation genetics out of Treasured Sunrise and a very decent udder. This year we have her paired her with Landmark and hoping to retain a doeling

Quatroviento Gem is a stellar breed up doe. Her dam is Oberhasli and sire is Stumphollo Landmark. Gem is a mega milk maker with fantastic udder and legs. We have retained her doeling, Ruby, who you will meet later during the intros, and Gem's doeling from this year is already bringing the Guernsey love to the show ring. We've paired Gem with Treasured Anise this year.

Treasured Coriander is a mighty milk maker, another long lactation doe. I paired her with Magic for some classic Guernsey kids with great depth, legs, udder connection, hardiness and hopefully long hair!

L.DFarms Beatrice is one of our homegrown does. She was a first freshener this year and shows signs of extended lactation. We retained her buckling and are very pleased with his growth. "Bea" was paired with Treasured Anise for March kids; we anticipate some excellent milk production with this combo of genetics.
Yearling Pairings ~ 2025-2026

L.D Farms Holly. She is daughter of Treasured Rosegold and Stumphollo Jeroboam. A very dairy combination with high parasite resistance and keeping ease. I paired her with L.D Farms Sir Walter for April kids.
